Our Shared Vision and Mission
IIDA Southwest Chapter holds a shared vision and mission that we use as a guide to keep us grounded in our goals, initiatives, and work.
Vision
Our vision is to support culture, enhance business value, solve problems, and positively impact the health and well-being of people’s lives through a greater understanding of interior design.
Mission
IIDA provides meaningful resources to commercial interior designers, industry partners, educators, design students, and clients, to advance our profession and enhance personal growth and business value. IIDA strives to provide its members connectivity, leadership opportunities, education, experience, and trust to continuously add enrichment to the design community and to our profession through Advocacy, Community, Professional Development, and Membership.
Commitment
Our Southwest Chapter and the wider IIDA community are committed to the sustained, intentional, and organized dismantling of racism in all of its forms and instances. We stand to instill meaningful change with regard to diversity, equality, and inclusivity.
